Accused To Spend Christmas And New Year's In Remand

A Moose Jaw man who has been wanted more than a couple of times by the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) will be back in court on January 6th to face serious assault and assorted other charges at Moose Jaw Provincial Court.

Shaun Clayton William Robinson who has been featured as wanted as MJPS Warrant Wednesday will not have to worry about missing court as he was remanded until January 6th in the palatial surroundings known as the Regina Correctional Centre - Remand Unit.

Robinson is facing are attempted murder, break and enter, assault with a weapon and several firearm related offences. He is also facing newer additional charges.

Judge Darryl Rayner said the case “should be going to a Thursday given the number of charges”.

Defence lawyer Estes Fonkalsrud said in the time between now and January 6th there may be time for possible resolution for plea and sentencing.
