Most City Services And Facilities Closed For Labour Day

For people who want to prove to the world they have ice water in their veins the drop in temperatures along with the outdoor spray parks being open, for this their final weekend of the season, might just provide the opportunity to show it to the entire City whereas for not so hardy souls the indoor pool will be open this holiday Monday.

Here is a full list of the City facilities and operations which will be operating on Monday:

  • Kinsmen Sportsplex Pool: OPEN 11:30am – 12:45pm for Adult Swim and 1:00-2:45pm and 3:15-5:00pm for Family Swim. Reserve your spot with the Online Recreation Registration link at www.MooseJaw.ca or the free City of Moose Jaw app.

  • Yara Centre: CLOSED

  • City Hall: CLOSED.

  • Transit: NO SERVICE.

  • Waste Collection: Zones 1 and 2 (as scheduled)

  • Recycling Collection: None (as per regular schedule).

  • Sanitary Landfill: Open 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

For those hardy souls who do decide to use the Spray Park the City asks all residents to observe all COVID-19 safety guidelines including:

• Maintain physical distancing.

• Those who are sick or have symptoms related to COVID-19 must stay home.

• Use at your own risk.

• It’s recommended that families carry hand sanitizer when visiting public spaces practice proper hand hygiene.

• Children should be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian, and reminded not to touch or contact others.

The same precautions should be taken when it comes to the using City nature trails and parks.

ADDITIONALLY the arms length independently run facilities will be CLOSED for Labour Day as well:

  • Moose Jaw Cultural Centre

  • Mosaic Place
