No Campus Return In January For Sask Poly Students

The continued threat of the coronavirus that causes COVID - 19 has Saskatchewan Polytech announcing that there will be no in-person classes in the Winter term commencing in January.

In a September 10th letter from Sask Poly president and CEO Dr Larry S. Rosia to students and staff the announcement is made.

“For continued campus safety, our students and employees will continue to work and learn from home for the winter academic term that will begin in January, 2021,” Dr Rosia wrote.

“A combination of online/distance instruction and limited in-person learning experiences where required, provides the flexibility to adjust to the rapidly-changing circumstances of the pandemic.  Campus access remains restricted and contingency planning in case of a resurgence of the virus is underway,” the letter continued.

Students and staff are presently engaged in the system whereby the majority are working from home and and access to the institute is limited.
