Submitted

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the 200 block of Main St. North will be blocked to traffic Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30.

The closure is needed to allow crews to complete a valve replacement project.

Southbound traffic will be detoured west at Fairford St. and may utilize 1st Avenue NW to travel further south.

Moose Jaw Transit routes will also be impacted by the project. The Transit hub downtown on June 29 and 30 will be on 1st Ave NW in front of Mosaic Place.

For a full list of revised routes, visit https://moosejaw.ca/streets-roads/transit/.

A reminder that two-way traffic continues on the 100 and 200 blocks of High St. West, with the eastbound lanes still closed to allow completion of the water main replacement project.

All local businesses in the construction corridor remain open and the City reminds residents and visitors that you may park free at all City meters until further notice, as directed by Moose Jaw City Council.

This includes the parking lot on First Avenue NW that provides rear access to 0 block High St. businesses.

The City of Moose Jaw asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
