City Adopts Policy For Employees And Face Masks
In order to potentially stop the spread of COVID - 19 the City of Moose Jaw has instituted new temporary policies requiring employees to wear masks in certain situations.
Starting this past Monday all City employees are required to wear non-surgical masks in all situations where two-metre physical distancing is not possible – either between two or more employees or between an employee and any member of the public.
The City has provided masks for employees to wear in these situations, which include traveling to work sites in City vehicles.
Due to availability of resources there will be instances where multiple employees must travel together in the same vehicle.
The City has a policy where workers ride in separate vehicles to and from job sites if at all possible.
