Police Seek Suspect

Shaun Clayton Robinson, of Moose Jaw, is WANTED for Attempted Murder and numerous other charges stemming from a shooting early yesterday morning on 9th Avenue NE. If you know of his whereabouts please call the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) immediately and do not approach him. Moose Jaw Police may be contacted at 306-694-7600.

Moose Jaw Police have arrested Jordon Shields, 36, for the early Friday morning shooting. Shields was arrested in a South Hill home later Friday afternoon according to a MJPS source. He is set to appear in court on Monday morning.

The charges Shields is facing are attempted murder, break and enter, assault with a weapon and several firearm related offences.

The vicitm was allegedly assaulted and shot in the lower extremities and has what is described as a serious but non life threatening injury. The victim is recovering in hospital in Moose Jaw.

Police continue to investigate.
