School Asks Parents If Possible To Keep Children At Home
If you have not already heard it and your child attends École Palliser Heights School the school is requesting your child stay home today if possible.
The reason why is the school has a significant plumbing problem which developed layer yesterday afternoon and was not repaired overnight.
The school will remain open during the repairs and cleanup as portable toilets and water is being brought in but to assist with the work the school requested parents by email to make alternative arrangements if possible for children ti stay home.

Good evening,
This is an important message from École Palliser Heights School. Near the end of the school day, we experienced a significant plumbing issue that resulted in multiple back-ups throughout the building. We ended the school day without access to water or washrooms. Unfortunately, this issue will be not be resolved this evening and we will be faced with the same challenge tomorrow. The school will remain open as there will be portable toilets and water brought on site. However, it would greatly assist the maintenance and cleaning efforts to have the day to work towards a solution to the problem. We are asking that parents please do their best to make alternate arrangements for their children for tomorrow’s school day. We will provide updates to all parents by phone, email, twitter and the SCC Facebook page as they are available. Should you have any questions, please contact the school tomorrow and we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,
Jonathan McLean
Principal
