High St. W: One More Sleep Until Completion

In the City's weekly construction update they delivered the good news about the High St. construction nearing completion. But they also advised that there will be some road closures on Saturday to facilitate the final paving.

The following items are highlighted in that report:
• Traffic restrictions remain in place through Saturday, including the closure of the 5th and 8th avenue intersections
• Access to area businesses is available via 5th, 7th and 8th avenues.
• The 300 and 400 blocks are fully paved and open
• The City reminds all that High St. businesses remain open during construction. We also ask all drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution in construction zones.

“We are pleased that it’s over. We are happy for the businesses and residents of High Street,” Craig Hemingway, Communications Director for the City of Moose Jaw said.
