Where To Park At The Moose Jaw Hometown Fair

If you’re headed up to the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair there are three places where you can safely park without having to worry.

There is bus service on Friday to the opening of the Exhibition Grounds with the closest bus stop located about 100 yards away in the Superstore parking lot.

There is NO night time service so if you’re going to the Fair by bus please remember and keep in mind unless you chose to walk you will need to find a ride home.

Although some people park in the ditch the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company warns it is strictly parking at your own risk and it is a No Parking area.

Exhibition Grounds - unpaved

First there is the parking at the north end of the grounds.

The parking is on dirt and at the present time packed down enough cars won’t get stuck.

This is an unpaved parking option.

Entrance to the north parking lot is through the Diefenbaker Drive gate.

People parking on the north end of the fair grounds receive a window card which allows them to come and go on the same day.

Parking is first come, first served basis.

Cost to park is $5 for the day.

Superstore - paved

The closest paved parking is on the Superstore parking lot just west of the Fair grounds.

Parking in the Superstore lot makes for a short walk to the grounds.

There are no come and go privileges and each time you park there - even on the same day - you will have to pay the parking fee.

Money collected from parking on the Superstore parking lot goes to a charity the store has selected.

Be aware the store is closely monitoring their parking lot for fairgoers parking outside the assigned area.

Access to the parking area is off of Thatcher Drive East.

Cost for parking is $5.

Canadian Tire - paved

Another parking area in high demand is the Canadian Tire Parking lot.

The lot is paved but it is a bit longer of a walk to enter the Fair grounds through the southeast gate.

There are no come and go privileges and each time you park there - even on the same day - you will have to pay the parking fee.

Money collected from parking on the Canadian Tire parking lot goes to a charity the store has selected.
