Highways To Heroes Car Show To Be Held This Saturday

All owners of vehicles of interest are invited to attend the Highway to Heroes Car
Show to be held Saturday, July 22 at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds, 250 Thatcher Dr. E.
The show is sponsored by Friends of the Forces Fellowship. Gates for show cars open at 8:30 a.m. Spectator gates open at 10 a.m. The show is open to all vehicles of interest and prizes will be awarded in five categories plus best of show.
Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for anyone six to 12 years; and free for children 5 and under, and for military personnel and veterans. Proceeds will assist military families, veterans and community organizations.
Special musical performances will be given by Noise Complaints, a rock band from 15 Wing.
Military memorabilia spanning several decades will be on display and a two-ship flypast of Harvards from 15 Wing will take place at 11:45 a.m.
A parade of miniature horse-drawn carts will be a special highlight of the car show.
Other attractions include: silent auction, 50-50 draw, raffle for car-related prizes, food vendors and face painting.
