What’s On At The Ex This Weekend

There are two big events this weekend at the Moose Jaw Exhibition - 250 Thatcher Drive East.

Hunter Jumper Show

For people who love horses or equine events the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company is presenting the fourth and final competition in their hunter jumper series.

The show runs today, Friday until about 4:30 PM and also it runs Saturday and Sunday starting at 9 AM on both days.

There are approximately 50 entries from Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan competing for top honours in the series.

In order to qualify for the championship awards riders and horses must have completed in a minimum of two events in the series.

The event is free to attend and is held at the Golden Mile Arena.

The ever popular concession that has received raves from people for the quality of their food and use of local ingredients for possible is also open.

Whistlestop Christmas Craft Show

A local favourite for over 20 years the Whistlestop Christmas Craft Show is back with its 2023 installment.

The ever popular show, which features handmade crafts and other products from 60 vendors, runs today until 9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Admission to the show is $5 per person per day with children 12 and under free to attend.

The sale unofficially kicks off the Christmas season in Moose Jaw.

Early attendance numbers on Friday afternoon indicate the show is headed for another successful year.
