Free Events This Weekend Our Readers May Like

As we are now at the midway point of August here are a few local FREE events that might be of interest to MJ Independent readers.

DOWNTOWN FARMER’S MARKET

This is one of the originals in farmer’s markets locally.

The market runs from 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday and is located on Langdon Crescent just in front of the Moose Jaw and District Public Library.

A smaller market but much more well shaded and given the heat we have been experiencing something much appreciated.

9 LIVES BOUTIQUE

Hosted by SCRAPS - MJ the boutique offers the largest assortment of cat related products in Moose Jaw and likely in the Queen City as well.

They are open from 12 noon until 5:30 pm.

Drop in and see what they have to offer and check out the cats available for adoption.

FARMERS MARKET AT WAKAMOW

For an initial year the Farmers Market at the Wakamow Valley has been going like gangbusters and easily surpassing the organizer’s wildest expectations.

The market is held in the Skating Oval right across the road from the campground. Follow the signs.

MOOSE JAW EXHIBITION

No equine events this weekend as the venue prepares for the Saskatchewan Barrel Racing Association major event next week.
