Comedy Tour Early Bird Ticket Deadline Fast Approaching
Moose Jaw is getting a reputation of being a funny city – but in a good way.
Starting with Garrett DeLaurier and his Moose Jam Comedy, Red Green and the Snowed in Comedy Tour the city is starting to become notorious for comedians to ply their trade.
Well there is another group of comedians set to take to the stage ready to give residents a good laugh.
The Human Condition Spring Comedy Tour is set to get people out and laughing on March 10th.
Tickets are just $15 until February 10th after that they go up to $20.
The tour consisting of three traveling jokesters will be performing their more adult themed comedy show at the Moose Jaw Royal Canadian Legion with a portion of the proceeds from the show going to the Saskatchewan Festival of Words.
“It’s adult comedy but not offensive,” Amanda Farnel, operations coordinator with the Festival said.
Farnel said the people behind the tour contacted them and asked if they could give a portion of the show's proceeds to the Saskatchewan Festival of Words. It is something the tour is doing at every stop they are visiting while they are crossing Canada – donating a portion of the proceeds to a local charity.
“It’s a good fit with them,” Farnel said, adding writing comedy was just like writing songs, poems or a book.
