U15 A Moose Jaw Carpet One Mavericks Drop Game One

It was a bittersweet evening for the U15 A Moose Jaw Carpet One Mavericks as they dropped game one of in the best of three provincial final series 2 - 1 to the Western Prairie Thunderbolts.

The Prairie Thunderbolts got on the scoreboard first at 6:05 of the First Period.

The Mavericks tied the game at 16:02 of the Second Period on a Marina Umana goal assisted by Jadee Costley.

The Prairie Thunderbolts scored the winner at 9:44 of the period.

There was no scoring in the Third Period.

In order to take the series the Mavericks will now have to win the next two games.

Game Two of the series goes Frlday March 28th at 7:30 pm at the Barkman Arena.

Game Three, if necessary, goes Saturday March 29th at 1 pm at the Barkman Arena.
