Major Senior Girls Basketball Tournament Tips Off Today

The Moose Jaw Sr Girls Basketball Invitational Tournament hosted at Peacock Collegiate runs from Jan 16-18.

The tournament has 16 teams from across the province, including three local teams: Peacock Collegiate, Central Collegiate and Vanier Collegiate.

Play tips off for all local teams on Thursday eveingin as the Peacock Toilers face North Battleford’s John Paul II and the Central Cyclones trip off in Indian Head at 6:30 pm. Both games are played at Peacock Collegiat.

The Vanier Spirits tip off against Humboldt at 8 pm at Vanier Collegiate.

Games start on Thursday at 6:30, and go all day Friday (Skills Competition from 3:00 to 4:00) and games all day Saturday.

Entry fee is $5.00 per day for adults and high school students.
