Mustangs U15B Boys Lacrosse Team Wins Bronze Medal In Sherwood Park

Another weekend lacrosse tournament is over and once again the Moose Jaw Mustangs U15B boys team are coming home with a medal.
At the Titans Classic Tournament the Mustangs won the bronze medal defeating the Okotoks Raiders 9 - 4 on Sunday morning.
The Mustangs earned their berth into the bronze medal final with a 2 - 1 record on Saturday.
The Mustangs opened the scoring at 11:22 of the first period when Brett Bowerin scored assisting on the goal were Gilles Guse and Joseph Jackson.
The Mustangs increased their lead to 2 - 0 Connor Livingston scored at 5:22 with assists by Rylan Deichert and Cash Bellefueille.
Within less than 30 seconds of each other the Raiders would tie it up.
Nathan Leung word score at the 1:36 mark quickly followed by a goal by Ty Clarke at 1:11.
The tie with just over a minute to go in the period was 2 -2.
With less than a minute left on the clock Caiden Arnott would score giving Moose Jaw a 3 -2 lead heading into the period break. Time of the goal was 00:55.
The second period was all Moose Jaw’s as they scored four unanswered goals.
Connor Livingston knotched a goal at 14:28. Assists went to Arnott and Kyler Pladson.
Caiden Arnott would score at 9:26 assisted by Bentley Messner.
Moose Jaw’s third goal of the period and the eventual game winner was scored by Messier assisted by Jaxyn Houle and Bellefueille. Time of the goal was 5:09.
The third period saw the Mustangs increase their lead when Ryan Seiferling scored at 11:35 assisted by Caiden Arnott.
The Raiders would respond with two goals making the score 8 - 4.
Any hopes of the Raiders staging a come from behind victory were extinguished the the Mustangs’ Cooper Fulton scored with 3:09 left to play. Assists went to Connor Livingston and Michael Beitel.
