Stealth Split Two Sunday Games

It was a split of games when the U15 South Sask Stealth took on the U15 North Sask Predators in U15 A Saskatchewan Lacrosse League action in Saskatoon on Sunday.

The Stealth team won the first game 8 -1.

The Predators won the second game 5 - 4.

The U15 South Sask Stealth team is of special interest to Moose Jaw as several members of the team are from Moose Jaw.

North Sask Predators - 1 South Sask Stealth - 8

Stealth opened up the scoring in the First Period at 15:14 on an unassisted goal by Leo Missal.

Missal would score his second goal at 8:22 assisted by Caiden Arnott.

The Stealth would round out the period scoring at 7:15 on a Ryder Seiferling goal assisted by Steele Ozmun.

The Second Period scoring was all Stealth.

Kysen Mac Angus would score unassisted at 9:18.

Ryder Seiferling would score his second goal of the game unassisted at 8:39

The Third Period would see the Predators score their lone goal.

Brett Bowerin would add to the Stealth’s lead at 13:13 on the power play. The assist went to Caiden Arnott.

At 6:43 Bentley Massner would make the score 7 - 0 for the Stealth the assist went to Maddox Mohan.

The Stealth would round out their scoring at the 3:04 mark on the power play when Johnny Stewart scored assisted by Caiden Arnott.

With just over a minute to go in the game the Predators would rob the Stealth of their shutout when Carter Krahn scores an unassisted power play goal.

North Sask Predators - 5 South Sask Stealth - 4

While game one was an easy victory for the Stealth team the second game was a hard fought matchup which saw the Stealth just come up short in their attempt to come from behind and win the game.

Scoring in the First Period was evenly split between the two teams.

The Stealth would open the scoring at the 9:47 mark when Leo Missal scored assisted by Krysten Mac Angus.

The Predators would tie the game before the period was up though on an unassisted goal at 5:24 by Carter Krahn.

The Second Period saw the Predators explode in scoring compared to the Stealth.

Carter Krahn would be back for his second goal at 14:10 assisted by Jaxson Morgan to give the Predators the lead.

Jaxson Morgan would add the Predators third goal of the game at 9:42 assisted by Jake Eggerman.

The Stealth would score their lone goal of the period at 8:26 as Maddox Mohan scored unassisted at 8:26.

The Predators would restore their two goal lead at 0:21 on a goal by Jake Deobold-Holz assisted by Jake Eggerman.

The Third Period would see the Stealth come from behind to challenge the Predators.

Brett Bowerin would score for the Stealth at 7:44 assisted by Kyler Pladson.

The Stealth would tie the game 4 - 4 with 2:41 remaining in the game on a Shiloh Mickler goal assisted by Leo Missal.

But the Stealth’s charge from behind to take the win ended a little over a minute later when the Predators would score making the score 5 - 4. At 1:30 Rylan Keith scored assisted by Jake Deobold-Holz.

The Stealth’s last regular season game and the provincial finals will be held the first week of July in Prince Albert.
