Déjà Vu For Sprinkler Number Two
And what could be best described as a case of déjà vu for the second time in the past few weeks a lacrosse ball has hit a sprinkler at the Kinsmen SportsPlex.
On Saturday afternoon a lacrosse ball hit a fire suppression sprinkler causing it to go off.
The resulting spraying of water soaked a large portion of the temporary flooring on the rink’s east end.

The water release did not seem to have an effect on the pool as there was a children’s birthday party ongoing during the cleanup about 4 pm.

At the present time the City has not released when the cleanup and reopening of the area will take place.
Planned Sunday games have however been moved to Swift Current.
