What We Knew About The Tragic Death Of Jeremy Sabourin

One of the big questions around town on Tuesday afternoon was what did the media know about the Jeremy Sabourin suicide?

Although we cannot speak for the other news media in Moose Jaw we can speak about our own publication.

To be honest with our readers, we knew at least two years ago about what happened in the Moose Jaw Police Service’s holding cells.

We were given some documents from anonymous sources.

MJ Independent was actively pursuing this story over many, many months, in order to protect our sources, who gave us the details of what occurred.

Also, by taking our time, looking into what happened in the police holding cells we were able to gather a much clearer look into the tragic death.

We only abandoned our probe into this once it was clear to us there would be a coroners’ inquest.
