As a candidate for city council, I bring a wealth of experience from my background in social work, business ownership, and real estate, which equips me with the skills necessary for effective leadership in Moose Jaw.

My social work experience has honed my ability to engage with diverse community members and advocate for vulnerable populations, ensuring all voices are heard and considered in council decisions.

With firsthand knowledge of the city's economic dynamics and property market from my time as a business owner and REALTOR®, I am well-positioned to make informed decisions on city planning, zoning, and development proposals.

My financial acumen, developed through running a business, will guide me in ensuring fiscal responsibility in city budgeting, focusing on pragmatic governance with achievable goals.

Prioritizing community safety, job creation, and affordable housing, I am committed to implementing strong policies and user-friendly processes.

Through transparent communication and leadership skills gained from my involvement in local non-profits and board positions, I aim to build trust within the community.

Driven by the motto, “Don’t say it can’t be done. If there is a need, there is a way,” I am dedicated to leveraging my diverse experiences to strengthen Moose Jaw through collaborative efforts and strategic initiatives.

On a personal note, I have been married for almost 40 years, have grown children, and amazing grandchildren.

As a mom and grandmother, I enjoy cheering on my family in their activities and spending time in our beautiful green spaces with my Moose Jaw's neighbors.
