HTCSD Elementary Invitational Volleyball Tournament Held

The Holy Trinity Catholic School Division Invitational Volleyball tournament made a return to the courts this past weekend.

Ten girls’ teams and 10 boys’ teams took part in the tournament with games being played at Vanier and St. Agnes School.

There was some tremendous round robin action that featured several close matches during the two-day event.

Even though a number of HTCSD teams made it into the playoff round both finals ended up being a Prairie South match up. In the end.

Caronport defeated Sunningdale in two sets to take the boys’ title while Cornerstone required three sets to defeat Palliser in the girls draw.

League play continues for all HTCSD teams with playoffs scheduled for early November with the finals taking place at Vanier.
