With less than a minute to go in the game the Moose Jaw U14 Vikings mounted a come from behind touchdown scoring play to defeated the Moose Jaw U14 Raiders 38 - 37.
The touchdown drive came on a series of final minute passing plays that drove the Vikings into the end zone making the score Raiders 37 and Vikings 36.
The Vikings then opted for a two point conversion and were successful in scoring a two point conversion for the 38 - 37 victory.
The game saw the Raiders take a 13 - 0 first quarter lead.
The Vikings took the lead 22 - 21 at half time.
The Vikings scored in the third quarter to take a 30 - 21 lead but the Raiders responded with a touchdown to narrow the gap with the Vikings leading 30 - 28.
The Raiders had a drive stall and settled for a field goal making the score 31 - 30 over the Vikings.
The Raiders would increase their lead when their quarterback ran the ball into the end zone with 1:55 left in the game.
A failed two point conversion left the score Raiders 37 and Vikings 30.
The Vikings then commenced to march downfield and author the come from behind victory.
The win leaves the Vikings with a 3 - 0 record and the Raiders with a 2 - 1 record.
