Police Investigating TikTok Video Of Alleged Paintball Gun Incident
An incident of someone allegedly firing a paintball gun on the 0 block of Stadacona Street West that was posted anonymously on the social media net work TikTok has drawn the attention of the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS).
The incident which allegedly occurred last week near the corner of First Avenue NW and Stadacona Street West - adjacent the Stadacona Apartments - depicted a woman allegedly firing a paintball gun at another woman who had been screaming in the street sometime late at night.
The woman who was allegedly being shot at with the paintball gun was under the influence of drugs according to the caption on the video.
The TikTok video ended up on a Regina based social media account where it was viewed tens of thousands of times.

In an online interview the administrator of the popular Regina based Facebook account stated they did not know the identity of the individual who sent them the link to the video.
They replied they simply put the video up on their Facebook page.
MJ Independent is not identifying the Facebook account other than to say it has drawn the ire of various municipalities who do not appreciate it’s content.
In a written response to a question from MJ Independent about the video Staff Sergeant Taylor Elder of the MJPS said the police are aware of the videotaped incident and it is being investigated.
“I can confirm the Moose Jaw Police Service is aware of the video and there is an active investigation. As with any active investigation, I cannot comment any further. Thank you for ensuring we were aware of the video,” Staff Sergeant Elder wrote.
