Plans For Fair Progressing Despite A Vendor Glitch

Everything was going according to plan for this year’s edition of the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair but due to unforeseen circumstances a longtime food vendor at the event is unable to attend.
At Tuesday evening’s monthly, regular meeting of the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company Lrd a report was given as to the progress of the fair.
Meeting attendees were told preparation for the Fair were on schedule but due to unforeseen circumstances a long time food vendor cannot make this year’s fair.
The food vendor being unable to attend the Fair means there is now an opening for a food vendor.
The meeting was told the food vendor who cannot make it this year was well known for providing a wide variety of what was best called Fair Food - hamburgers, corn dogs, as well as fries\ onion rings.
Exhibition general manager George Fowler said they had a number of options and would be looking for another food vendor.

The meeting was additionally told the entertainment for this year’s event had already been booked. The entertainment list will be released at a later date.
However, the meeting was told this year’s Hometown Fair’s parade, theme would be “Summer in the City.”
Additionally, it is unknown, the number and what roads will be provided by carnival operator West Coast Amusements.
It was additionally announced that the Third in a four part Hunter/Jumper series will take place during the Fair.
A 4H show will also be held during the four day event.
The Moose Jaw Hometown Fair will once again be a 4 day event after last year’s successful for a pilot. Traditionally the Fair has been a three day event.
The Moose Jaw Hometown Fair kicks off with the parade on Wednesday June 21st with the fair grounds festivities running from Thursday June 22 - Sunday June 25.
