Flyers To Face Fillies In Provincial U18 A Championship Re-Match

By Robert Thomas

After Friday evening's tight defensive battle between the Milestone Female U18 A Flyers and the Balcarres Barracudas forced the deciding Game Three both teams were engaged in battle just over 40 hours later.

It was Game Three from the Balcarres Skating Rink.

But unlike Game One's 6 - 5 Barracudas home victory Sunday saw the visiting Flyers take home a 5 - 2 win and a trip to the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League's U18 A Provincial Final against the Leroy based East Central Fillies.

Despite being a tight and hard fought three games series between the Flyers and Barracudas the Southern Division final was relatively penalty free games marked with sportsmanship and respect.
