Former City Manager Back Into ‘Retirement’
Moose Jaw’s former city manager’s brief stint out of ‘retirement’ has come to an end.
According to report by CTV Saskatoon the former City of Moose Jaw city manager Jim Puffalt is no longer the manager of transit services for Saskatoon.
The CTV report does not going to great detail as to why Mr Puffalt has parted ways with the City of Saskatoon after only four months of employment.
Mr. Puffalt’s departure was called a “mutual” decision.
It his previous employment with pthe City of Moose Jaw Mr. Puffalt had officially announced his retirement at the end of his five-year contract.
Sources familiar with what happened tell MJ Independent the reality of situation was Council had given him notice they were not going to renew his five year employment contract.
This occurred despite four very positive annual reports giving the former city manager stellar reviews in the employee of the City of Moose Jaw, multiple sources told this publication.
