Vikings Fall Just Short Against The Shadows

The Vanier Vikings came oh so close against the conference leading Shaunavon Shadows.

The Shadows defeated the Vikings 14 - 11 at Robert Smith Field in Shaunavon on Friday afternoon.

The game had a high attendance and was used as a food drive for the Shaunavon Food Bank.

The win gives the Vikings a 2 - 2 season record and they are currently in third place in Conference 2 in 9-aside football.

The win gives the Shadows a perfect 4 - 0 record and the sit alone in first place in the conference.

The next Vikings game is Friday October 13th at 4 pm where they will travel to Wilcox to face the Notre Dame Hounds.
