City Wins A Couple Of Awards For The “Get A Life” Campaign
A marketing campaign designed to attract people to move to Moose Jaw has won a pair of awards.
The Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) has presented the City of Moose Jaw with the Best Marketing Campaign and Best Promotional Item awards for the “Get A Life” campaign.
The awards were presented for a marketing campaign with a budget of $200,000 and under at the Association’s annual conference in Summerside, PEI.
The campaign was designed to encourage people to move to Moose Jaw for the quality of life, safety, economic opportunities, as well as recreation opportunities and parks.

“It’s thrilling to be recognized at a national level,” Jim Dixon, Manager of Economic Development said in a statement.
“The campaign is not only a testament to the true quality of life advantages we have in Moose Jaw, but a testament to the residents and businesses that supported the Get A Life campaign at the launch and in the videos. These awards wouldn’t have happened without their involvement,” the statement continued.
In 2020 the City of Moose Jaw previously won EDAC Marketing Awards for COVID-19 recovery initiatives and for the “Canada’s Most Notorious City” branding initiative, and in 2019 for promotion and marketing of the “Moose War” with Norway.
The exact amount the City spent on the marketing campaign nor the effect it had has not been released.
