This Saturday was Hockey Day In Canada.

Special events were held across the country.

To help commemorate the annual event MJ Independent attended a game between the Moose Jaw Carpet One U13A Mavericks 2 and Western Prairie Unity at the Kinsmen Arena and shot a photo essay.

The game was won by the Mavericks 3 - 1.
