Ranch Roping Returns This Saturday
By Robert Thomas
If you want to see the real working cowboys in action then the Golden Mile Arena is the place to be this weekend as Ranch Roping returns this Saturday.
A FREE event to attend Ranch Roping is not a rodeo style event but rather one based upon what it is like to work with cattle out on the range.
It is a laid back style as practiced by working cowboys out on the range.
Ranch Roping stresses humane treat of not only the cattle used at the event but also the horses.
The event in fact penalizes or even disqualifies them for being aggressive and potentially causing harm to horse and cattle.
Ranch Roping runs this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at the Golden Mile Arena (250 Thatcher Drive East) located on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds.
The event is FREE to attend and spectators are welcome.
