Street Sweeping Starts For Another Year
A good sign Spring has arrived for another year is the City has commenced street sweeping for another year.
Early Monday morning City crews were out on Main Street North beginning street sweeping for 2022.
Crews start the annual clean up in the Downtown core and then work their way into the various neighbourhoods sweeping up the sand, gravel and other debris which has gathered over the Winter months.
Street sweeping schedules will be updated weekly and found online at: https://moosejaw.ca/street-sweeping/ .
The City will put up No Paring signs 72 hours prior to street cleaning on a street. No signs will be erected in the Downtown metered areas.
The City asks residents obey the No Parking signage as tickets will be issued for non-compliance.
It needs to be noted If a vehicle is left parked on the street, it will be ticketed (with the owner facing a fine), crews will clean the street around the vehicle, and will not come back.
