Three Warriors Make East Division All Star Teams As Playoffs Set To Start
As the Moose Jaw Warriors kickoff their 2022 playoff round this evening at 7 pm versus the Saskatoon Blades at Mosaic Place the Western Hockey League (WHL) announced three Warriors were selected to East Division All-Star teams.
Defenceman Denton Mateychuk who originates from Dominion City, Manitoba made the WHL's East Division First All-Star team.
The players who made that team are:
WHL East Division First All-Star Team
Goaltender – Daniel Hauser (Chestermere, Alta.) – Winnipeg ICE
Defenceman – Carson Lambos (Winnipeg, Man.) – Winnipeg ICE
Defenceman – Denton Mateychuk (Dominion City, Man.) – Moose Jaw Warriors
Forward – Connor Bedard (North Vancouver, B.C.) – Regina Pats
Forward – Kyle Crnkovic (Chestermere, Alta.) – Saskatoon Blades
Forward – Matthew Savoie (St. Albert, Alta.) – Winnipeg ICE
Warrior's goaltender Carl Tetachuk who hails from Lethbridge, Alberta was named to the WHL's East Division Second All-Star Team.
Tetachuk is joined on the Second All-Star team by fellow Warrior forward Jagger Firkus who hails from Irma, Alberta.
