Wet Weather Forces Wakamow Farmers' Market Cancellation
The wet weather has forced one weekend cancellation of a major weekly free event. The Wakamow Valley Farmers’ Market has been cancelled
“The inclement weather has forced us to cancel this weekend’s farmer’s market. The grounds are moist and so are the parking areas,” Lasha Crabbe, from the Wakamow Valley Authority said.
If the weather cooperates the weekly Saturday farmer’s market will return next week. The market wraps up its first season with its final Saturday market on October 2nd.
For those interested in getting their weekly farmers’ market fix the Moose Jaw Homegrown Farmers’ Market - located on Langdon Avenue in front of the Moose Jaw Public Library and Art Gallery - is still a go. The market is open Saturday from 8 am - 1 pm..
