City Clerk/ Solicitor To Hang Up The Skates

It was an evening punctuated with congratulations, sadness, admiration and some good hearted fun as City Clerk/Solicitor Myron Gulka-Teichko announced his retirement.

A retirement announcement Council accepted with regret.

No details were given about Gulka-Teichko’s retirement plans but his departure will harken in major changes in the structure at City Hall as the joint City Clerk/Solicitor position will be split into two separate entities – City Clerk and City Solicitor.

The splitting of the position will also be part of a future major restructuring in City Hall’s operations. Come back later for the full story.
