Exhibition Restarts Their Sponsorship Committee
Want to slap your name on a building, an event or maybe even a stall or two in order to put your business front row center in the local agriculture community? If so in a short time you will be able to thanks to a motion approved by the Moose Jaw Exhibition’s board.
At their monthly meeting the Exhibition’s board approved a motion to re-start a sponsorship committee.
“For some time now we got away from them but I think it’s important to help take on that,” board member Joyce Walter said.
Walter went n to explain that the Exhibition had facilities and events which naming rights could bring in extra dollars to the Exhibition.
“We could have this not for everything we do but there are some sponsorships out there and we need to get after that money,” she said.
The motion passed unanimously.
Naming rights and events sponsorships are a big issue in Moose Jaw as the City and other groups have aggressively been going after corporate and government dollars in a bid to bring in more dollars to their operations.
