Moose Jaw Hometown Fair Cancelled For Second Year Due To Pandemic Restrictions
It was one of the last major outdoor events that had not been cancelled due to the COVID - 19 public health restrictions but this year’s edition of the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair is officially cancelled.
For a second year in a row there will be no parade travelling down Main Street nor the screams of teenagers on the Midway or cotton candy and corn dogs dispensed by the dozens.
In a release the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company of Directors said “The Moose Jaw Exhibition Company Board of Directors regrets to inform you (the public), that due to the COVID 19 Government guidelines, we will be cancelling the 2021 Moose Jaw Hometown Fair and Parade. We hope everyone stays safe and well, and that we see you at the 2022 Hometown Fair.”
