Two Major Intersections To Be Four-Way Stops During Traffic Light Upgrades
The City of Moose Jaw would like to advise motorists that two major intersections will have work going on around them starting Tuesday.
Crews will be replacing existing traffic poles and foundations with new poles, signals and underground wiring at the following locations:
- 9th Avenue NW and Caribou Street West
- 1st Ave. NW and Athabasca Street West
Although the roads will not be closed during the work the Coty would like to advise motorists there will be lane restrictions to allow the work to take place.
Additionally during the work the intersections will be four-way stops as the traffic lights will be non-functional. .
Both projects are estimated to be complete by Friday, June 18 (weather permitting).
The City of Moose Jaw asks drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
