SCRAPS Adoptables - Two Black Cats
Submitted by SCRAPS
It’s’ Black Furday and this week it’s all about “Mommy & Me”!
Storhm & Mortimer are an absolutely adorable bonded duo. “Mama’s boy” brings a whole new meaning to this sweet relationship !
Mama & her nursing baby were rescued just in the nick of time - only a few hours before one of the first & biggest storms of the winter. By the time the temperatures crashed & the blizzard blew in both were tucked in safe & sound, cozy, warm & fed in their SCRAPS foster home.
Despite an intense search no other kittens were ever discovered or people that Mama once lived with. It was just simply Mommy & Morty against the world....
Mama (Storhm) is the most cheerful & friendly Cat. Loving & patient with her furever, energizer baby, you’ll mostly hear her chirping to her baby & foster family. Seems like food is a popular request!
Storhm is a 1 year old, silky, shiny, beauty with the smoothest black fur coat (other than odd strands of white hairs found on her back). She enjoys quietly sitting with her humans & entertaining her kitten. No more babies for this lovely girl though. She is now spayed.
Mamas’ boy or better know as “Mortimer” is a unique 5-6 month old polydactyl kitten. He is SuPURR confident, unusually intelligent & always on the go with unlimited energy (except when he plays himself & everyone else out with his antics). We feel he must be somehow fuelled by all those adorable extra toes! Mostly, Morty really loves his Mom.
Throughout the day, the two will be seen cuddling, playing, wrestling, rubbing against each other & of course sleeping together. Where one is, the other is not far off.
We are accepting applications for a home where Mama & Morty can remain together. There are some bonds that need to be protected. This is one.
The PURRfect home would be one with a safe & quiet environment (Morty can make his own whirlwind!). Careful introduction with another feline house resident is possible. Mama is not too sure though about dogs. They are kind of scary.
Those interested in providing a forever home for this sweet & special little pair can contact SCRAPS Adoptions team at 306/684-9048 to learn more.
