Construction Necessitates Two Temporary Road Closures

If you are driving around the City over the next few days here are a couple of temporary road closures you might be interested in.

Athabasca Street West

Athabasca St W will be closed on Tuesday from 1st Avenue NW to 3rd Avenue NW as the roadway is being re-paved.

Weather permitting the work is expected to be completed August 9th at 12:00 pm.

All businesses in the area will be open and access is available via Stadacona St. West or adjoining alleys.

Residents have access via the alley and 1st Ave NW & 3rd Ave NW.

Manitoba Street West - 2nd Avenue NW

As part of Phase Five of the Cast Iron Water Main Replacement Program one of the west bound lanes of Manitoba St W will be temporarily closed on Wednesday.

As usual the City requests all motorists to reduce speed, drive cautiously and obey all road signage.
