City Receives MEEP Millions

It was good news for the City of Moose Jaw as the provincial government has approved their application under the Municipal Economic Enhancement Program (MEEP).

The City was approved for funding on three major projects - Wastewater Treatment Plant Blower Project $879,960, Covid-19 Protective Measures $54,000 and Pumphouse and High Service Reservoir $3,936,996.

MEEP is designed to provide an economic stimulus by the Province following the economic downturn precipitated by the COVID - 19 pandemic. The projects municipalities submit must be shovel ready.

The City has until March 31st, 2022 to use the funds.
