City Hosting Contest To Showcase Positive Coping During Pandemic
With COVID - 19 changing everyone’s life the City of Moose Jaw wants to feature the positive things residents are doing to cope with the lockdown.
The City has launched a contest so residents can show off the ways they are “Coping With COVID-19”.
“Since the pandemic became a reality, we’ve seen countless examples of Moose Javians finding ways to stay positive,” Mayor Fraser Tolmie said in a statement. “The City of Moose Jaw wants to inspire others by showing off our residents’ efforts to keep smiling in spite of adversity.”
The contest allows residents to show off their creative ways to stay active at home with their families, a nice gesture from a friend or coworker or even a special way to stay connected with loved ones you can’t visit.
Use the City of Moose Jaw app to send a photo of the person, place or thing in Moose Jaw putting a smile on your face and helping you Cope With COVID-19.
Everyone who enters by May 7, 2020 has a chance to win a family Recreation pass, to use at any City rec facility once they reopen.
Entries will be featured on the City’s website (www.MooseJaw.ca) and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
Select the Contest button on the app to get started, and if you don’t have the app, get it free from your favourite app store.
