City Provides Daily Covid - 19 Measures Updates 6.0

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents of all safety recommendations established by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) to help prevent the spread of COVID- 19.
Today (April 1) the provincial government extended the State of Emergency for another two weeks and the City of Moose Jaw asks residents to continue following the recommended safety measures related to social distancing, self-isolation and washing hands.
Safety recommendations extend to outdoor activity and the City reminds you that City playground equipment is not sanitized, nor is the City Dog Park.
- Do not touch surfaces.
- Practice two metre physical distancing. - Stay home if you are sick.
- Wash your hands with soap and water frequently.
City trails and park green spaces remain open, but we urge residents to adhere to the recommendations above.
In accordance with the City’s Dog Bylaw, please remember to bring “doggie bags” when you walk your pet. You are responsible to scoop all of your dog’s poop.
Additionally, a reminder that Moose Jaw Transit has adjusted regular hours, with routes starting at 9:55 a.m. daily.
We have also added a Dial A Bus Service starting at 7:00 a.m. for those who wish to take advantage of special grocery shopping hours.
