Use Caution At The Intersection Of 9th SW And Lillooet St W
If you are headed across the 9th Avenue NW bridge in the next little while the City of Moose Jaw would like to advise you there will be an on-going constuction project at the intersection of 9th Ave SW and Lillooet St West starting today as the new traffic poles will be installed.
In October of 2019, new wiring and traffic signals were installed at the intersection. However, due to clearance issues between overhead Sask Power lines and the new traffic poles, the new poles could not be installed at that time. Sask Power has relocated their overhead lines, allowing for the project to resume and be completed by January 16, weather permitting, the City of Moose Jaw said in a release.
No lanes of traffic are expected to be closed during this project, but drivers and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution and obey any posted signage.
