Moose Jam Comedy Hosting Another Hilarious Evening
If you are looking for a few good laughs this coming Friday June 7th then you might want to check out the Mitsu Cafe 115 Main Street North from 6:30 pm to 9 pm for the latest production of Moose Jam Comedy.
Moose Jam Comedy is the brainchild of Moose Javian Garret DeLaurier who got into producing standup comedy acts to add some additonal laughs to the notoriously funny city. He hopes to make standup comedy coming to Moose Jaw a regular event.
This will be Moose Jam Comedy’s third standup comedy production and the acts are startting to create a strong local following.
Appearing this time around will be Tim Nutt from Kelowna. Nutt has previously performed at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
DeLaurier described Nutt’s act as “funny and lighthearted. His humour is witty without taking anything seriously.”
The other headliner for the event will be Fabian Dray from Saskatoon.
DeLaurier describes Dray’s comedy as “observational. He is very smart and satirical.”
“Not only is it an experience that you don't typically find in Moose Jaw (that being stand up comedy at a professional level) but also the more people that come out and support events like this, the more it will afford me to bring in comedians from all over (New York, LA, etc).” DeLaurier stated, adding “I would like to make Moose Jaw a place that even the big comedians will hear of. there is a lot of highway between Winnipeg and Calgary and most comedians don't even think about stopping here.”
The cost for tickets is $10 and available at the door.
