Bantam Mavericks Start South Final This Friday

The Moose Jaw Bantam A Mavericks will face Parkland Fire a team from the Melville and Yorkton region in the Southern Division finals of the Saskatchewan Women’s Hockey League.

Parkland advanced to the final against Moose Jaw by defeating the Regina Bisons.

Parkland finished the regular season in fourth place and Regina was second. It is yet another upset in Southern Division Bantam playoff action in the Saskatchewan Women’s Hockey League. Moose Jaw advanced to the the final by defeating the Balcarres Barracudas who were giant killers by defeating Swift Current earlier.

The first game of the best of three game series is Friday night (March 8th) at the Red Knight Arena located at 15 Wing Moose Jaw at 7:30 pm.

Game two is set for March 10th at 4 pm in Melville.

If Game Three is necessary it will take place March 17th at 1:30 pm at the Red Knight Arena.

All Moose Jaw games are free to attend.
