Bantam Mavericks Play Game One In Provincial Final Tomorrow

While the Moose Jaw Warriors entering the first round of the playoffs might be the talk of the town there is another hockey team in town that is also getting a lot of attention and they are playing here locally this weekend.

With the Warriors are in Saskatoon battling the Blades there is a way for those locally not making the trip to get their local hockey fix.

The Moose Jaw Bantam A Mavericks will be hosting Game One of the Saskatchewan Women’s Hockey League final this Saturday afternoon at 1 pm at the Red Knight Arena out at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

The Mavericks will be facing the same, but a renamed squad the Northwest Sharks who play out of Turtleford, who they faced last year in the provincial finals.

In last year’s matchup the Mavericks handed the Turtleford based team their first defeat in not only that year but also in this year’s action as well.
