The 86s Album Release Party is Saturday Night

Moose Jaw’s freshest rock group, The 86s, has a milestone week/weekend ahead of them. The friendly city four-piece is set to release their debut album and play and album release party.
The Many Rooms of Old Lady Winchester is the first recording of any kind from the band and they'll be playing tracks from it come Saturday night at the Park Hotel.
The 86s consist of fellow Moose Javians Jaymz Robb on bass and vocals, Ryan Stusek on drums, Anthine Savoie and Dave Howard on Guitar. Together they have created what they coin as "definitive heavy groove stoner rock, with hardcore punk for a kick! Rock & Roll at it’s finest!"
The group formed in 2016 during jam sessions around the city. It took the departure of original drummer Mike Boss and the addition of Stusek to mark the groups powerful new direction, which led to recording the album.
The Many Rooms of Old Lady Winchester represents the bands first year of existence.
"What can simply be accomplished by hard will, begging, borrowing, and stealing and a very punk rock D.I.Y. attitude. Not do it by yourself, but do it with your friends" said Dave Howard.
The 86s will be playing alongside a pair of Regina acts, Above The Crown and Sing the Body Electric. Above The Crown is influenced by Our Lady Peace, Deftones and The Tea Party, with warm tones, nostalgia, and ruthlessness all at the same time.

Sing the Body Electric, the other band on the card, brings a diverse rock sound to the table, they've been compared to everything from Stone Temple Pilots to Slipknot and include members of Moose Jaw’s own Northern Fallout.
You can hear their track “Buried Alive” right here.
The Many Rooms of Old Lady Winchester CD Release party is on November 17th at The Park Hotel. Music starts at 9:30.
The 86s love to party. They rock the party.
