New Decorations Unveiled
Cutting a deal with SaskPower to electrify some of the new light standards has led to some bright new Christmas lights to decorate the Downtown.
At Council Monday evening director of public works Darrin Stephanson unveiled one of the new Christmas lights the City is erecting.
Stephanson said although the lights are new they have been in storage for a number of years and can now be put up for residents to enjoy.
There are 26 new decorations going up in two different designs. The decorations are LED and have lower power consumption than regular decorations.
